Designer, illustrator and collage artist Thomas Allen, whose new work we spotted over at Colossal, brings books to life with his amazing book cut illustrations, his paper figures springing from the text. Best known for his work building action scenes from vintage pulp novels, we’re totally digging some of Allen’s more recent work, which explores other styles, and is just as dynamic but often a little cheekier, filled with subtle visual jokes and bright colors.
